Desire With No Attachment To The Outcome

Today I got a glimpse of awareness on physical, emotional, and mental attachment to material items. I got to be of service and help a dear friend of mine clean out her garage and my, us humans can sure collect & hold on to so much! I instantly began to think of all the people in the world and how many material items each person is probably holding on to......the numbers seems infinite!

Then I proceeded to think of all the people without clothes, furniture, recreational items, ect. We seem to feel bad or pitty the people without, but why is that? Why do we feel sad for the one's that have less attachment to these material items? I say feel sad for the rest of the world that "must have" this or that!

I was in Lowe's and Walmart today and got to observe people all around the store glowing at each material item they came in contact with. Can you imagine if they became aware that everything they see is really not as they see it. We are all energy and have given power and meaning to everything that we have come in contact with. Yes, as humans we are very powerful creatures!

Ofcourse it is a wonderful feeling to desire something and have it manifest in front of you, even in seconds! We can feel the joy of having that item and be in a state of ultimate gratitude! I believe it is important to remember everything we have acquired on this Universe has been granted to us on loan. After all, everything is all of the same- we are just a piece of the greater Whole!

I will be traveling to Hawaii in a few months and my goal is to take two maybe three bags with clothes and books and donate the rest of my stuff. I have experienced being with out items I thought I "needed" for well over 2 years and I am here to tell you that I lived and did just fine without it all! Once I cleared the emotion and mental attachment to those items, I felt free and ever better then I felt with all that "stuff".

Alice Bailey and the Tibetan master Djwhal Khul in Serving Humanity, put it so lightly "Sooner or later the soul arrives at the realization of the futility of material ambition. This could take eons of lifetimes. But when the soul arrives at this point, a high state of integration is marked and there is a huge shift of consciousness. The soul then longs to function as part of the greater Whole." I recommend you meditate on this section as it is very powerful and will change you completely.

Well the Universe would like me to wrap this up......so lastly I leave you with this beautiful quote:

"By performing action without attachment man reaches the supreme" -Bhagavad Gita

Peace & Love,

Erin

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

I am in the Wizard of Oz spirit this evening, after attending the 70th anniversary HD release on the big screen last night. Thank you Anna & Amanda for going and even singing along with me! A good friend of mine is a hospice nurse and said she often feels like death is a lot like Wizard of Oz, as we travel on our journey to Oz to meet the Wizard. I love this perspective and it sure shed a new light for me while watching the movie.

I believe everything is in it's perfect place, and find it comforting that I am traveling a yellow brick road like Dorothy, that will lead to Oz. Dorothy came from Kansas and I started my journey in Missouri, and we both brought our little dogs too! I love to dance to the beat of my own drum, sing out loud, skip, smile, and so one might say my world is a lot like Munchkin Land!

As you may recall, Dorothy tapped her shoes at the end and believed 'there is no place like home' and it returned her home. She had the power all along and through a process of acceptance she discovers she can be and do whatever she wants.

I am very excited for my new adventure and I will continue to allow the flow of the Universe to guide me along the way. I will be heading to Hawaii December 3rd for 2 weeks and then traveling to St.Louis to spend the Holiday's with the family. I look forward to sharing my adventure with all of you as I take it one day at a time!

Peace & Love to you all!

My Spritual Jorney!

Greetings Everyone! Thank you for visiting my blog and taking an interest in reading on.

I would like to dedicate this first entry to the following:

My Parents: Thank you for seeing the light in me and allowing me to grow and feel free to just be me!

Lisa Cooper: Thank you for your love and support even when I did not know how to love and support myself. You showed me what unconditional love and devotion is. I know 100% your were sent to me to teach me love & service. I am grateful you cam along and woke me up and encourage me to follow my spiritual path. Our time together was so short, but I have faith we will meet again someday! The picture you gave me stands true for us "Some people don't know that there are angels whose only job is to make sure you don't get to comfortable and fall asleep and miss your life."

Sondra Ray: Thank you for your wonderful books and workshops that have inspired me to seek what you sought! I above all admire your devotion to the Divine Feminine, as I know it is the real deal!

Susan Stuth: Thank you for allowing me to be your guinea pig in your early days of spiritual coaching. I have learned to get in touch with my Angels & Guides from you, and now they are an active part of my daily life! You are a great coach and friend!

Michele Rodriguez: Thank you for taking me under your wing when I was new to California. You allowed me to grow in my own way and pace and continued to love me unconditionally no matter what. I will always be as you so lightly put it "The daughter you never knew you wanted".

Jan Bosson: Thank you for being such a beautiful light in my life. I am so grateful to have your daily guidance and unconditional love. I admire your free spirit and love for humanity!

Thank you to all my friends and family as you have all touched my life in such a special and unique way!

For those who don't know me, I traveled here to California at age 20 to pursue my career in motivational speaking and healing work. The journey has been filled with laughter, tears, and tremendous spiritual growth. I have enclosed a letter that I wrote the other day to my family & friends.

I will write about my new and upcoming journey to Hawaii on my next post!

Peace & Love,

Erin

Family & Friends,

Well, I made the courageous leap from St.Louis to Los Angeles California 15 months ago and it has been a journey filled with lots growth and new experiences. (Riley my furry companion made the leap with me too.)

After arriving here in LA, I found my home in West Covina and got settled. I spent a few months exploring the City and many of those days on motorcycle rides up to Los Angeles National Forest (The Crest) taking in the beauty of the mountains and nature! I couldn’t believe such a beautiful place existed so close to downtown LA!

Within a few months of getting acquainted with the new city, I started the job hunt. I wasn’t really looking for any job in particular, just something that would assist in paying the bills! Shortly after applying for a clerical position, I received the call and out of over 200 applicants I was offered a position as a property management assistant.

As many of you may know, coming to California has been a part of my spiritual quest. Ever since I can really remember, I have wanted to be a motivational speaker. When asked why I am moving, I simply stated to pursue my career in motivational speaking and healing. I will admit I had cold feet before the move; in fact my spiritual coach at the time helped me out of it by telling me to “Grab the Bull by the Horns”. Would you even believe when I arrived to the room I rent, on the back of the door was a brass bull with horns. The Universe made it abundantly clear I was on the right path.

Along with working for the management company, I have done a lot of growing, service work, reading and preparing myself for my future career in speaking/healing. I am currently blessed with the opportunity to be of Service to RamDass. (Ram Dass is a wonderful and very enlightened spiritual teacher and author). As, a special thank you from the Ram Dass foundation, they have graciously invited me to Maui in December, with expenses paid. I am looking forward to meeting a great teacher and friend.

I recently attended a 3 day workshop on Miracle Consciousness with my teacher Sondra Ray. I was then invited to come to Hawaii to take her Liberation Breathing Training. (This Liberation Breathing is very healing and well liberating!) The training will take place from December 4th- 9th and then I will travel on small plan from Kona to Maui to be with Ram Dass from December 10th-15th.

My ultimate goal is to serve humanity and be a channel for love and light. I am going to continue in my devotion, love, and service for the Universe to achieve that goal!

I ask for your blessing and prayers to be sent my way as I continue to travel this path. If you are able to contribute any funds (even $1) to help towards my training and travel expenses, it would be gratefully received. (I just threw humility out the window, and that is a hard one to give up!!)

Thank you to all for your love, patience, and support. I look forward to being of service to each one of you in the future!

Peace & Love,

Erin Coriell
